I used to do Graphic Design im certified in CS6 but dont know how the market is... any Advice?

Depends if they're looking for a job, doing it for the sake of it can be a waste if they don't understand how to actually profit out of it. If they just want to do banners and stuff, legit just watch the form, go on twitter, go on youtube see what people are talking about it's not hard to research current events and trends.
