So someone impersonating m0E scammed me he had like 30 knifes so I thought the guy was legit and he msg me to trade than he got one of his friends to even impersonate and admin and I fell for it and lost $200 and I'm really sad plz respond with any advice on what to do thx

Yeah but otherwise if it was off of here there isn't a lot you can do other than maybe take it up with steam?

True but if he did get scammed here, admins can take action so the scammer doesnt scam more vulnerable TTG users.

I think steams refund policy says that they won't refund any items. If you did 5 minutes of background checking you'd realize that it was a scam. Sorry bro but next time you need to be more careful and do a proper background check.

I don't understand how people get scammed by impersonations. It literally takes 10 seconds to find a real profile.

Step #1: Go to Google
Step #2: Enter, "moe steam profile"
Step #3: Search what you just entered
Step #4: Click the first link
Step #5: Realize that you are talking to a scammer
Step #6: Report scammer for impersonation
Step #7: Don't get scammed


If you want to find ANYBODYS steam profile, just google it. It will almost always come up.

You could see that the scammer recently changed their name. You can't get a refund either.

Just going to lay this out
1)Moe doesnt trade, he already scams with his betting website.
2)Why would he randomly add you?
3)Did you check it was him?
4)Why would you need a admin for a simple trade?
5)Steam wont help you no matter what

Sorry for the loss
Next time think about those 5 things
