Okay not here to cause a big rant but I just simply want to understand why people enjoyed the game so much. People look at it as the god game of call of duty and all I seen was a spoiled broken mess.

I've been playing COD from 2004. Loved COD2, COD3 is
Probably the worst in the entire series (for boots on the ground games) with COD 4 and 5 easily being the games that got me hooked to the series.

When MW2 came out I instantly hated it. Campaign was great, spec ops was okay (only played it for achievements) but multiplayer I didn't enjoy at all and quit playing after 2nd prestige.

Noob tubes with danger close perk, riot shields, tactical nuke, trickshotting, Model 1887 akimbo, easily the most hacked out of all cods, I could go on and on with this game.

In my personal opinion COD 4 and MW3 were far better. But if you are one of the people who really loved MW2 I would just like to understand why because most of my friends who play cod didn't start until black ops 1 haha

***I've came to the conclusion that I'm one of the weird 1% of people on this site who didn't enjoy the game Hahaha. Main purpose of a game is to provide fun to the player and obviously it's just not to my liking whatsoever but the game was definitely very innovative no matter what way you look at it. Thanks for all the comments and views shared.

I always loved sniping but when trickshotting was new it was a lot of fun for me. I started recording, made a youtube channel and even got on Cod Shot Of the Day which made me grind even harder for clips. Plus all my IRL friends trickshotted as well so it was even twice of fun playing a game we all loved. Yea noob tubes and commando was a pain, but with every game youre gonna have to deal with some bad. Honestly I would do anything to go back to the MW2 prime days.

I kew up playing those sort of games just like MW2, that game was the bomb to play not it's ruined. Campers using hear beat senors, Clay-more & C4 with One Man Army Noobtubing, hackers with aimbot, UAV, and wallhacks. Trickshoters have ruined the game. Wasn't like that back in the days. smh

Yes it was? Haha, hacking and trickshotting wasn't there but everything else was? Boosting, one man army, commando, model 1887's where absoloutly ridiculous at launch and even after the original patch for them. Tactical nukes spoiled most matches as they where easy to get. Kill streaks where very innovative and the game was still enjoyable for a lot of people but once those kids that watch too many FaZe videos and hackers came along the game died completely haha (for me anyways)

I've always loved playing it? From the day it came out, it's gone through a lot of phases, from hardcore gaming, sniping, tricks hotting and now being fulfilled by modders, and to be honest I still love the game as much as I did the first day it came out.

When you say "easily the most hacked out of all cods" do you mean in recent times or since it came out? because I haven't played it for 2 years and wasn't sure if it was hacked like crazy now.

About 5-6 months into the game when jail breaking ps3's and jtags became very popular the game started getting a lot of modded lobbies. Then they got patched for a while until people found new bypasses and since then yes the game was riddled with them. I didn't mind modded private match mod menus etc but when people went online in public matches with infections etc that really annoyed me haha but I can't complain too much about the modding as I used to come to this website all the time looking for an unlock all lobby hahaha

I never enjoyed it much either.
It was a decent game but to me it wasn't all that great.
Could be cause I picked it up late or was hooked on Bo1 prior to it, but yeah never the best that people claim to me.
