Do you mean like a router? Ha. Only thing I can think of where you can plug ethernet cables in and get connection. You should just get longer ethernet cables, on ebay you can find 100ft cables for around 10 bucks or even cheaper than that. They are not expensive at all.

A Ethernet hub works well, there is no configuration to it.
Only issue with switches is some require configuration.
Also, if you have a old router, you could easily turn that into a Ethernet hub.

I know that your just trying to help, but that is not what the OP needed at all. Like others have said before, the OP needs a switch.

The cheaper switches don't need a configuration (unmanaged switches). Managed switches in the other hand can be configured and are more expensive. OP get a cheap gigabit unmanaged switch, plug it in and forget.
