hello,
My friend got a ps3 today and when he click the button tot turn it on, it just turns it self strait back off again,
does anyone know the reason for this, or even better if they know the solution to it
it will be much appreciated,

It could be a number of things really, from a failed hdd to a bad power supply. The first thing I would do is try a new hdd. Also can you give me some information on the particular console in question. It will help narrow down more of a solution for you and your friend. Is it phat or slim? What gb is it?

Dont worry mate, its all dont, i just took it apart and found out that the power pack and the dvd drive was not plugged in properly,
