I'm not gonna come here and just cry and get attention, I'm just here for some support.
About 2 hours ago, my grandpa passed away in my moms arms.
I'm 18 and I live at school away from home so I'm alone and I need some support. I have talked to my parents and everything but they are going over all the papers and what not.

Does anyone have any ideas on something I could do to cheer myself up? All I have at home is video games, I could go for a walk but I don't want to break down on the side of the road.

Damn sorry for your loss. My grandfather passed away when I was 7 years old. My family and friends were able to help me pick myself up and move on. Just surround yourself with your loved ones and you'll pull through man. Stay strong bro

Hey man, I'm sorry for your loss. I've been through this more than enough times to know. It just goes to show that life is precious thing. I'm sure your grandfather loved you so much. He is in a better place now. all the pain, hurt, and worries he had been feeling on Earth is now gone. Just surround yourself with loved ones may it be friends or family. May he rest in peace. Hey bro, I know how it feels man. I lost my grandmother last year due to lung cancer. Watching her in hospice suffocating was the hardest thing for me. Im sorry for your loss man. Try to keep videogames onto your mind and just dont think about the depressing past. Same thing happened to me only difference is that I was 9 and felt horrible cuz the last time i saw my grandfather was when I was being an immature 9-year old ass to him and broke my heart hearing that he was gone. Read some books, watch Comedy movies, Funny things are the best! Good luck to you.
