"Ideal for NAS" is because there are multiple drives. With a NAS you would typically run in a RAID configuration for redundancy or speed.
The drives are SATA2 not SATA3 which means the transfer speed will be slower but they should be ok.
What do you need a 'temp' hard drive for? Why not just buy a new one?

Those drives will work fine as temporary drives just don't expect great performance
You can use them in a regular PC
It just says ideal for NAS because people don't understand what NAS drives are required to do.
