Hi boys and girls,

Thinking about doing a little PC upgrade. Currently running a dual monitor set up under my GTX 960 4GB Graphics. Thinking about moving to a 3 screen set up due to me doing a lot more coding and the 3rd monitor would come in very helpful.

Couple of questions. Do you think the current card will be able to within hold the 3rd display with out loosing much power to the pc?

or

Will I get a second 960 card and run the 3rd display on that card?

Need all you PC geniuses to come together. Let me know!.

GTX 960 wasn't a good card to begin with, and the 480 puts the 960's price waaayy off. SLI GTX 960s would be a bad idea anyway. If you need more performance, upgrade to a better GPU IMO. The GTX 960 will be fine for three monitors though.

Why do i need a better card when youve just said yourself that its good enough for 3 monitors. Contradicted yourself a bit.

Why don't you try reading it again. This time, read it properly.

"IF you need more performance, upgrade to a better GPU IMO."

Seems I didn't tell you that you "need a better card".

"GTX 960 wasn't a good card to begin with, and the 480 puts the 960's price waaayy off."

What is that implying then? Hypocrite now i believe.

It's implying exactly what I said. The GTX 960 was never a good choice. It's basically an overclocked GTX 950 for a $50+ premium. R9 380 was a significantly better choice but now that the RX 480 is on it's way, it makes literally zero sense to buy a GTX 960. I never once said an upgrade was necessary, as you claim. You asked for help, don't get upset when you don't like the information Lmoa. You clearly don't understand what hypocrisy means.

Haaha and someone doesn't even know how to spell "hypocrisy".

Do you know what implying means? When you say something but means something else. Saying the card I have at the moment is a bad choice means your implying the card is bad. Learn english and get back to me.

Hypocrisy is the correct spelling, maybe try googling it or something at least.

TheMightyJonny wrote Do you know what implying means? When you say something but means something else.

No, implying means saying something without actually saying it. Again, maybe Google stuff first.

TheMightyJonny wrote Saying the card I have at the moment is a bad choice means your implying the card is bad. Learn english and get back to me.

It is a bad card. I didn't imply that, I outright said it because it's a fact.

You can't tell anyone to learn English when the title of this topic is "Need Advised or ideas!"
Last time I checked this wasn't the English Forum, it was actually the PC Building forum.

You needed advice, you got advice, at least Sanctorum actually went out of his way to help you. Like seriously man :/

Thanks for pointing out that mistake in the title which i have fixed.

Now are you here to give advice or judge? If it is to judge I don't need you here really.
