I got a question. I have a xbox 360 and i was wondering if i buy a game from the xbox marketplace do i have to download it for it to save or how does that work. Im wondering cause i wanna buy a game on a different console then mine but i dont wanna wait forever for it to download

When you buy a game it's linked to your account, you can buy it and move it to any console you want. You don't have to download it for it to save, you will already have the license as soon as you purchase.

It saves in your recently purchased but if you're planning on downloading it on a different console you must redownload it. If you're talking about if you have to download it on YOUR console to put it on a different console, then no. If you buy it you do not need to download it for it to save in your recently purchased.
