Why does everyone always talk as if everyone else share's the same opinion? You're talking for the entire call of duty community in this post.
I'm looking forward to Infinite Warfare, I loved black ops 3 and I'm sure this will also be a good game. Everyone is slamming infinity ward because they made ghosts, which wasn't great. Other than that they haven't made a bad Call of Duty at all.
Plus, this game has been in development pretty much since ghosts came out, so they didn't really see the backlash of AW movement until a lot of the base game was completed.
I just think that people are jumping on the hate train a bit, people complained when CoD was the same and now they are complaining when it's different.

There is no hate train. Apart from the millions of people that disliked the reveal trailer.........
I never said i was speaking about the whole community just at the time a lot of the feedback was negative. The only similar game that people complained about was mw2 and mw3. I never complained about that because it was a squeal with a great plot in my opinion.
So explain with the cliffhanger we got In Ghosts why they didn't continue with a sequel. It received so much negative feedback they scraped the idea and started a new project (Infinite warfare). This was the start of the 3 year cycle for each developer.

I honestly don't think it's going to be terrible, I don't mind the space combat some game has to do it.. I was looking at you star wars battlefront- I mean that's halos territory, but I believe if this was labeled as anything but call of duty it would "succeed" and it will still succeed cause a lot of people will still buy it.

"But were going to have to suffer another year with a game we don't want to buy" We is a collective term, so in this sentence you are talking for everyone. The hate train includes the dislikes on the trailer, people turning their nose up at the words infinite warfare.
I haven't really played a CoD campaign since black ops 1 so I wouldn't know a lot about the plot and cliffhangers, but I would assume they cancelled ghosts 2 because of the negative feedback like you said. But they can't really do the same now with Infinite warfare because the game is over 2/3rd completed.
