Every time i try to change my Gamertag it says it is reserved. I was wondering how long a Gamertag can be reserved for and if there is a chance that it will be unreserved and I could grab it?? Thank you

This means the GT has been taken 'reserved' it could also mean its a banner GT.

A "reserved" gamertag means that someone else recently searched that tag up. The tag will stay reserved until the searcher either claims the tag, or claims another tag.
"reserved" doesn't necessarily mean not obtainable. Just keep trying.

Yes the Gamertags "Dream" and "Blue" are not taken, but when you try to change it to it, it says you can't. Makes me so mad.

What are reserved gamertags and how can you tell if one is reserved or not?
How can you tell if they're not taken? I've been trying to get this gamertag and I can't tell if its taken or banned.
