I know I'm making all of this seem like a first world problem haha but I need some help
So here's the deal: I played PS1 and PS2, then I wanted to switch to Xbox 360, played that for around 7-8 years. Decided I'd switch to PS4 for this generation because it seemed more promising. I ended up getting an Xbox One later on because that's what all of my friends had switched over to. I still use both systems, but Xbox is sadly what I'm on more because all of my friends are on it. I cannot stand the Xbox One, the issues I've had with it are unreal, and PS4 has had no problems for me besides a few problems turning on which I got fixed.
Anyways, the problem is that my friends besides around 1 or 2 of them are deciding to stay on Xbox. I really do not wanna stay on Xbox at all.. I am very determined to switch to PS4, especially now that COD Modern Warfare is being remastered.
What do I do? Switch to PS4 and barely have anyone to play with, or stay on Xbox where all of my friends are.
Please don't turn this into a console war, I really just need some help deciding.

ps4 always since you know you arent going to need to download an updatee every single month

I would try to play solo for a little bit and if you enjoy it go to ps4 if not stay on xbox one.

I'm in the exact situation as you. I have an xbox one atm. Used to have an PS4, But sold it as i had no one to play with and all my friends were on the xbox one. I don't mind the xbox one though.. But i'd much rather have better graphics on the playstation 4 and dlc first for call of duty etc. So im on the wall of buying another PS4, and having both consoles until i can grow a pair and part ways with the xbox one as i've been using an xbox for the past 8 years. If you'd like someone to play with on Xbox we can play and chat about the situation, And continue the friendship over to PS4. We have to start somewhere.

xbox one, graphics wise they are the same. The few more pixels it has wont do you any harm.

I would get the console that the friends you play with the most are on. You've stated that you have more friends on xbox, rather than ps4, so I would go with the xbox.
To add, you can still get Modern Warfare Remastered for Xbox, however, the DLC is released first on Playstation.

Go with a ps4. I have both systems and really do not like the Xbox one. Way too many advertisements on the dashboard.
Ps4 runs way more smooth and plays games at a bit higher quality than the Xbox. The exclusives are great and will be in the future

Go to Ps4 because if you don't like the Xbox One then it will put a strain on you playing with friends. Your friends might miss you and vice versa but in the end do what makes you happy. Primary thing I miss my Xbox one for is the controller, that's it.

If you really like the PS4 over the Xbox One and want to play it instead, just switch to it. You can always make friends on here if you don't wanna play solo. I wouldn't mind playing with you if you're up for it. And I'm sure there's a few other people on here that can play as well. If you want to, add me on PS4: xShockkwaveZ. It's up to you anyways in the end.

I'm honestly in the same predicament you are in I'm thinking about selling my Xbox one for a ps4 that I had already. I switched to Xbox one and sold my ps4 because my friends were on Xbox one and I got really bored of ps4 because I had no one to play with (this is when the consoles first came out). So I went to Xbox one and now I feel like selling the Xbox one and going toward ps4 because PS4 has a better design than a Xbox one and plus the home setup is more organized and looks better and general plus cod dlc on ps4 are first that what everyone on Xbox 360 always talked about now the ps4 has it so honestly in my thoughts I think you should it's fun to play alone and play with friends but you can always meet new ones or talk some sense into your friends in to buying an ps4. Better yet! Stream or build a YouTube channel that will keep you going if you start to build subs and stuff! I hope this helps man
