I got money from someone because I sold them something and they sent me $50 and I don't see it

Happens with me sometimes, I had £100 in PayPal but wasn't showing up but it was still there.

He might have scammed you, Did he actually show you him sending it to your paypal address and the transaction complete screen.
If not he could be tricking you and have sent the money to another paypal of his ect...
You should have a transaction under your account and the money should be in your balance or in your pending balance.
You should never send anything until you can see the money in your account.
Also if it was only a screen shot he showed you it could have easily been faked by just using inspect element

He can say he sent you something all he wants. Even if he shows proof, it could also be photoshopped.

If the transaction was complete then it may be a glitch but you should double check to make sure you weren't scammed.
