Paid ones usually have more in depth tools and more thorough scanning. Not saying that free ones don't like Malwarebytes but you get me.

McAffe in my opinion is the best, most Windows laptops come with a free year subscription of it after that you will either have to stop using it or set up a payment method online for it or just get a cracked version of it, Norton Security is also quite good but overall McAffe is by far the best out there.

Edit: McAffe comes with Internet security, anti-virus and a lot more!

Just install Gentoo (or other Linux distro) and rid yourself of Windows problems for good.

Malwarebytes is not a antivirus. I don't buy anti-virus. I prefer to be a pirate on the bay.
