One of the biggest events in The Walking Dead ruined by the writers. I doubt they'd have the balls to follow the comic and even so, the suspense will be ruined once it's revealed.

It takes the opposite of balls to follow the same death from the comic. That would be the biggest cop out in history.

Seen a comment which pretty sums it up for me..

"More like a 90 minute trailer for season 7"

Just wasn't what I expected for a season finale. Of course it had its nail biting moments but it was just missing something for me

I agree, a cliffhanger shouldnt really be a finale... it defeats the purpose of the word "finale". The definition of finale is - the last part of a piece of music, a performance, or a public event, especially when particularly dramatic or exciting.

This "finale" is clearly not the last part.

If you hear it, Maggie did scream very loudly towards the end.

Fully understand why you think that but it's the opposite for me.

Spoiler for anyone reading the comics
Glenn should have been killed right then and there and it would have been the most shocking episodes of TWD, maybe even one of the best scenes ever.

But no, they left off with a disgusting cliffhanger which will probably result in the death of a minor/useless character in the next season.

Maybe they shouldn't follow the comics but it's time for a Main character to die. Game of Thrones was successful in doing so, can't see why they're afraid to do it.

Episode good, ending scene sucked.

Well that was annoying.

It hit as hard as a baseball bat and still made me sit on the edge of my plastic stadium seat, the run up was intense, but the bowl just didn't deliver.

I'm hoping it was Daryl, but the way that Abraham rose up to him when he went around makes me think that they might have brought him off the bench, he's strong enough to 'take it like a champ.'
Obviously this would be a complete waste of Negan's entrance, but if they can screw up his opening scene with a cliffhanger then I'm not putting it out of their ballpark to stray that far from the comics.
