002 wrote Let me go through this again. Why is trump a better idea than the others? One of the biggest issues is gun rights. While I don't believe our gun rights will never be taken away, presidents will try to take them, and it just wastes time and money, taking this country further down the hole. Trump not being against guns (as of now) won't be wasting that time and money.

Trump is also a successful business man. Look at what he turned "a small loan of a million dollars" into. Don't you think he can help this country out financially? Yes, this is a country and not a company, however he will have the financial background to know what ideas to invest time and money in.

Everyone seems to be focused on him saying only Americans belong in America, when it stems further than that. He wants to stop this wasteful spending on helping out these illegals that we currently do, and that everyone else will.

Trump is focused on keeping, and making jobs here in America. Yes, this will make the upper class lose money, but it will help the middle class re-establish themselves which will make the upper class money again.

What is one thing that you hear a lot of in a political races? You might here the words super PACs, funding, etc. What is this? People buying out that person for their interest. People don't just hand out money. Here is why Rubio is a horrible idea. He is 100% bought out right now. Trump has the money to run by himself, for himself which means that no one is buying him out (though I'm sure he's not declining money, but the point is, he doesn't have to take the money so less people are buying him).

Yes, the guy has no filter, what's wrong with that? Do you want to keep being lied to, or do you want a somewhat transparent government? Right now our government is as transparent as wearing a welding mask at night with no light. Trump is like wearing sun glasses at night with no light. Not only that, but I'm sure without that filter, he's not for this political correctness BS. This is where retarded was the word we used, then it was mentally retarded, and after multiple terms I believe now we're at special needs?

Who is trump talking about? The middle class, the blue collar worker, us little people, what ever you want to call it. What are the others focused on? The established rich folk.

For all these people saying Trump isn't diplomatic, who was willing to sit at a table across from Putin and talk with him to understand his views? My mind might be escaping me, but I do believe that man was Trump. Not Rubio, not Sanders, and sure as hell not Clinton.

He's not about coddling the women. This is where he believes if a women wants to be treated like a man, get the same pay as a man, and the same job opportunity as a man, she better be doing the same thing as a man. Not saying men are inferior, but you hear people (like Clinton) yelling and pitching a fit that women have it to hard and lets just hand them life on not just a silver platter, but a gold platter.

Keep in mind that we're not just voting for the person, but also their family. See how you hear about Michelle Obama a lot? That goes to the family. Melania is already accustom to the spot light, and would probably be a great candidate for women's health, The you have Ivanka. Again used to the spot light, but she is a GREAT role model. She is a mother and a thriving entrepreneur.

Every president is around arguably intelligent people to help them on most things. What is one thing they need to think on their feet by themselves on? Negotiations. Trump being a businessman, and a successful one at that, must be pretty good at the negotiations part.

This is all fine and dandy, but your vote means nothing. If you watch the news or stay up to date with politics, which I bet most people don't, you will be astonished to find that the state representatives are voting BEFORE the polls close. How can this be if they're using YOUR votes to represent the state? They're not, the elections are rigged. Hell, just look at the electoral college. This is where 538 electors "vote" for president. All states get an elector based on the number of voting citizens, but for the sake for time, lets just divide the US into the North, East and West (or 3 states). Both areas have exactly the same amount of voters. The East votes 47% of candidate A, and 53% for B. The west goes 61% for candidate A, and 39% for B. So now A has 108%, and B has 92% (just adding the full percentages for both, not dividing and re-adding). So now the North really like candidate B, so they vote 80% towards B, and 20% towards A. This means A now has 128%, and B has a whopping 172%, or dividing and re-adding, A has 42.6% of the total vote, and B has 57.3% of the total vote. Although candidate B has the popular vote, candidate A won in 2 states, so they have more electoral votes, which makes them president.

It is all well and good stating that he is all of these things. The question isn't whether or not he is for all of these things, the question is how is he going to do it. Where is the policy substance in this post? It's not there.

I could easily make another post just like yours and make Ted Cruz sound like a great person with the will of the people in his heart and the strength of God behind him in negotiations. It doesn't mean he will be a good president. It doesn't mean his numbers will add up and it doesn't mean he won't ruin the country. (And before you take this to mean I'm voting for Ted Cruz, I'm not.)

The issue is not them being Muslim, the issue is them living free off the government (our taxes).

This can be said for any reason to vote for any president. Trump just has better promises and more means of fulfilling those promises.

That's my point. You didn't include his means of fulfilling those promises (his policy substance) so you're still no closer to convincing us to vote for Trump.

One cannot say how a presidential hopeful will do something, it just can't happen. I am not Trump so even if he says X and that's what I give you, he may do Y. The simple fact is, he has a better promise than the rest, and better means of fulfilling that promise.

Do you not see how you have just demolished your own point?
If we can't trust any of what the candidates say before they become president then you can't say that you're voting for Trump because he will let you keep your guns.

You can't say that 'He wants to stop this wasteful spending on helping out these illegals that we currently do, and that everyone else will. '
You can't say that 'He's not about coddling the women. This is where he believes if a women wants to be treated like a man, get the same pay as a man, and the same job opportunity as a man, she better be doing the same thing as a man.'

You can't say, 'Do you want to keep being lied to, or do you want a somewhat transparent government?' because Trump might be using his lack of political correctness as a campaign trick.

A certain amount of trust has to be placed in the candidate you support, and it's far easier for people to support and trust a candidate who continually speaks about both their policy positions and what they are going to do to achieve those policy positions, Trump does the former very well.

I don't know how you're missing his point. It's really quite simple.
