I remember when I would go on youtube just to watch a select few peoples videos that I thought were pretty cool. Games I liked, people seemed pretty cool/funny. Over the past year or two youtube has turned into complete trash. 'Reaction' videos everywhere, 0 effort, everyone copies everyone, there is 0 originality, everyone sells out for money or changes their personality completely to appeal to younger (bigger) audience, drama.. and the idiots who seem to watch youtube videos now. Comment section of half the videos is just completely pathetic. Unrelated to videos, unfunny jokes/memes that are literally copied and pasted to every video, and of course what seems to be the new 'trend' of people spamming 'kys'

And you have these channels with hundreds of thousands of subs, even millions; idiots like leafy/keemstar. I watch league of legends videos and for some reason these people keep appearing in my sub box. They are toxic as hell, awful human beings whose channels are based solely upon bullying, insulting and degrading people, and this is considered OK apparently.

Youtube has really became such a joke.

Very important to state that. Anyways, I disagree. I think there are some great content creators. Sure, there's loads of shitty channels out there that you have to weed through but theres lots of quality channels. Its all on your focus. The comment section has always been absolute cancer. So much that I dont even bother going in there anymore. YouTube is not complete trash, I think its just a matter of time before some of these trends die down.

Yeah its my own opinion, debatable of course. There is great channels and cool people out there, but the channels with millions of subs producing this cyberbullying offensive garbage, its pretty infuriating.

I think YouTube is better than its ever been. The comment section is irrelevant; it has always been notoriously toxic and hateful. Channels like SciShow, Veritasium, SmarterEveryDay, UberHaxorNova (I could go on, those are some of my favorites and there are many more as awesome) are creating content at a higher quality than there's ever been.

I think what you're observing is a genre, or trend, of YouTube that is dying.

I know what you mean. It does feel pretty ctappy. I like the youtubers I watch though. They're pretty cool and laid back and love what they do. Like funhaus and avgn great people man

Introduce Yourself Section, anyways moving onto topic. Youtubers are justing uploading crap sometimes I feel for them to be happy but half of the time the fans who supports the videos really hate their content so that's when the comments becomes funny to read. Like E.G FaZe Clan I'm a big fan of them and what they do content wise so I watch their Youtube Videos so one member in FaZe Clan posts one video of BO2 then the rest just copy it's just plain boring....
