I am raising the price on the budget for my next PC build. I am thinking $2000-$3000.
I have:
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB
Mouse: Corsair M65 Gaming Mouse
Monitor: Acer R240HY bidx 23.8-Inch IPS HDMI DVI VGA (1920 x 1080) Widescreen Display
Headset: Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset
If anyone has good suggestions leave a PCPartPicker link.
Thanks!

1080p monitor does not belong in a $2k-$3k budget. I'd highly recommend investing in a larger resolution panel with that kind of budget.

I'd personally get something like this;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Included a 4k monitor, and you still have a decent bit of the budget left over. SLI support so you can easily add a 2nd 980Ti at any point. You have the budget to add a 2nd 980Ti to this rig if you want. Or, with the left over money, you could get some nice speakers, and/or decent fans for the PC, and/or random stuff for your set-up.

5820K which will handle any games and editing with ease and it's the exact same price as a 6700K. SLI support for adding another 980ti as well as a nice 4K IPS monitor.

Can someone provide valid points to why my build is bad? Besides being expensive of course. My build should run 4K ultra smoothly and the aesthetics are hnggg.
