So I'm in a need of a decent computer, I'm attending college which requires me to 3D Model and Render out things. But I would like one where I can play games on it too. The price range that I was hoping for is around £500 and I stumbled upon this build. Now take into consideration that I have no clue what is good and what is bad.

So my question is:
Is this computer build good enough to complete the tasks I wanted?

It would do what you wanted just not very well at all really. Im guessing this is a pre-built but as you posted in the "PC Building" section, I'm going to assume you want to build a PC.

This is what I would get if you want to be doing 3D modeling and rendering as well as gaming; [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] much better than what you found.

Assuming no peripherals as you didn't state you need them.
The i5 will handle 3D, rendering and gaming just fine as well as the 380 handling games fine also. For £500 you ain't going to be getting better CPU or gaming performance unless you buy second hand or find exceptionally good deals.

Doesn't really look that good to be honest.
You won't be able to handle a lot of games & for the future I would not go for that pc.

Almost identical to Dan's build, just a lower end GPU with an SSD. If you don't mind lower gaming performance you can fit in a small SSD which will be very beneficial for the OS and the CAD software;
