Policy and Procedure is to be interpreted by all members under the HSLX Crew banner. Policy, as outlined by bold font, are to be considered and treated as the basic rules which dictate crew members' expected behaviour. Procedure, as outlined by indented bullet points is the precedent in which rules are interpreted at administrations discretion.
Do not kill crew members.
All incidents of crew killings are to be reported to commissioners or leader within a reasonable time frame from the incident at members discretion if deemed necessary by involved party.
It is the sole responsibility of initiating party to inform those involved of accidental killing.
Accidental killing without reconciliation may be deemed as intentional in report at administration's discretion.
HSLX Crew members are unable to actively participant in other crews.
HSLX Crew Members must also have it so Profile & Gamer tag are visible within the Social Club
HSLX Policy & Procedure applies to members within HSLX Crew with or without HSLX tag actively applied.
Discipline, removal, evaluation of reports, revisions to policy, interpretation of policy are to be carried out by the administration with or without warning at their explicit discretion.
Any incident which a member deems necessary will be reported to leader and/or commissioners via private message within a reasonable time frame from the incident at members discretion.
Promotions will be handed out based on performance and activity by a majority vote among commissioners.

HSLX members are to be considered/assumed friendly to all other HSLX members unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon verbally or in written form.
In all free-roam competitive modes, any HSLX member who kills another HSLX member, no matter the circumstances, is to be considered in direct violation of HSLX Crew Policy and Procedure and subject to disciplinary action deemed appropriate by the administration.

HollowStrike Legion is a fun, friendly and sociable Grand Theft Auto Online crew. We have our own crew reputation system and points, awards, custom crew challenge games, and events.

We accept members from all over the world from UK, EU to America and Canada. We all socialise on the Xbox live party chat and contribute to making new game content and coming up with activities for the crew. We help new gamers and fellow crew where needed and you should nearly always have someone to game with.

HollowStrike Legion crew have a requirement for at least one crew car in crew colours and the crew uniform saved in saved outfits. Driving an approved crew vehicle, wearing crew colours and uniform is required at organised evenings or events or when requested. The rest of the time you can of course wear and drive whatever you like but we always appreciate seeing crew members riding in a crew vehicle and wearing the crew colours and emblem.(See the full Handbook sections for Uniform and Car for full details and visual guides)

All new members are considered on probation for first month with the crew. This will not effect most new players at all, and is not related to activity, however any blatant disregard for the basics of the crew handbook and community with be met with simple and complete removal from the crew and website without notice. After the first month crew members will be afforded the courtesies as laid out in complaints and discipline section of the handbook.

By applying for membership of HollowStrike Legion crew, you are confirming that you have read and are agreeing to abide by everything in our crew Handbook.

When you first join the crew, you will be an unranked member (muscle). To truly be part of the crew you will need complete your initiation that earns your way into Representative rank.

Firstly, add HollowStrike Legion members to your XBOX friends, seek out, join in and socialize as much as possible with the rest of the crew. You may also share with others your GamerTags within the TheTechGame Thread.

A ranked crew member will eventually invite you to your Initiation, how long this invite takes is entirely down to you. The more engaged and active you are with the rest of the crew, the sooner you will get your invite. We like to get all new members initiated within the first week of joining.

Although the Initiation fight club is a compulsory requirement for entry into Representative, it is purely for fun!, you absolutely do not need to win or show any amazing skills; it is about taking part, socialising and having fun with the crew. The initiation helps to ensure the likelihood we are gaining like-minded members.

If a new muscle rank crewmember decides not to seek to take part in this initiation into the crew proper, they are welcome to remain in the Muscle ranks of the crew; However they will not have access to,or receive invites to crew acitivities.

HollowStrike Legion was conceived and created by Myself and K7R8. Therefore, HollowStrike Legion does not have a single overall leader; it is about all our members working together and lead from the front by the commissioners.

COMMISSIONERS

The COMMISSIONERS are the crew leaders, they are chosen by the CREATORS from the most trusted crewmembers.They have dedicated time, loyalty, resources and commitment to the crew. They hold a responsibility for the overall running and administration of the crew, its website and Social Media. They are at the forefront of creating and organising crew activities. On joining the rank they forsake any membership to any other crews and remain exclusive to HollowStrike Legion crew and its associated crews.

The COMMISSIONERS need only seek the council of each other in crew decisions. This rank can only be lost if they break any of the ranks responsibilities, rules or choose to leave. The commisioners will utilizes the services of the Lieutenants to aid in the running and organisation of the crew.

LIEUTENANTS

The LIEUTENANTS are players who have proved themselves to be committed and valued crewmembers. They have shown a high level of online activity and socialising with other crewmembers. LIEUTENANTS must show continued commitment to the crew and its expansion, while always protecting its interests and complying with the crew guidelines. The LIEUTENANT must be loyal to HSLX over any other crew. They may be asked to take on responsibility for administration of crew assets and are eligible for assignment to an Commisoner ranks. This rank is maintained by continued representation, commitment and input into the crew.

REPRESENTATIVES

The Representatives are the core of the crew, they have earned the right to wear the crew emblem and the respect of the rest of the crew. They have the right to access and take part in the crew mini-games, award events and earn crew Reputation Points. They will follow the crew handbook and help enforce crew policy. Their main responsibility is to play with, represent and promote the crew. They must maintain a good level of commitment and activity online with the crew to maintain the rank, long periods of inactively or being seen wearing another crews tags will lead to demotion. If they prove themselves to exceed expectations, provide input and content to the benefit of the rest of the crew, they will be eligible for promotion to Lieutenants.

MUSCLE

MUSCLE ranks are unranked members. All members spend a period of time in this rank. The time spent as a muscle rank is up to the member, the onus is on the member to show a level of genuine interest in the playing and socialising with the rest of the crew by aiming for Initiation rites. Muscle ranks have no crew rights and cannot access crew mini games, take part in award events or earn crew reputation points.

Any ranked member will be considered for promotion once they have been active and sociable for a reasonable amount of time and would like the opportunity to take on a more specific roll and responsibility within the crew. Promotions are normally instigated automatically once the crew officers have identified a suitable person.

Muscle to Representative

Gained by signing up for the crew and completing the Initiation.

De-ranked Muscle to Representative

Previously ranked members who find themselves demoted back to the Muscle ranks for inactivity can request a fast track promotion back into a ranked member. We do not discriminate on these matters and all crewmembers are welcomed back. You can expect to receive a prompt invitation to an informal re-initiation with ranked members of the crew. Once this has occurred they will be promoted back to a ranked member or higher depending on crew history.

Representative to LIEUTENANT or COMMISSIONER

Promotion to LIEUTENANT or COMMISSIONER is by special Invite only. These ranks are given to crew members who have shown all the qualitys laid out in the relevant sections of the Rules and Handbook. Promotion opportunities to the officer ranks occur two ways, when a position becomes available due to crew growth or when an existing Officer is demoted or leaves the crew.

When a position becomes available, the current crew officers will put forward nominees for consideration for the promotion to the crew and a vote or executive decision is made.

Remember, COMMISSIONERS are the crew leaders and the Lieutenants are their direct support, so only the most active and contributing crewmembers are promoted to Officer Positions.

PLEASE REMEMBER | All posts have very specific role playing aspects and responsibilities which play and important role in planning and organising crew events. While we always endeavor to keep the crew easy going and fun above anything else, we do ask that crew members be engaged with both the role- play aspect of the crew ranks and the responsibilities they hold, as it keeps the crew active and adds to the overall immersive element of the crew and game

"HollowStrike Legion" is a multi-aiming style crew. Auto Aim is most often used, especially for mission grinding and general free-roam. Free aim maybe mandated for a particular event, especially competitive events, as free aim is more acceptable in competitive crew leagues.

"HollowStrike Legion" is an 16+ only crew. Grand Theft Auto Online is made for adult audiences and we do not want to expose under-age gamers to adult content, interactions and conversation. This is difficult to monitor and enforce. However, any underage members will find themselves removed from the crew without notice. In any cases in which we are unsure whether-or-not, the player is underage; they may be required to prove their age.

Many of us are avid and addicted gamers but we all have real lives, family, college, university and work. Sometimes you might take a time out from multiplayer gaming. We understand this and no one will judge you for a sudden lack of activity due to burn out, real life events or other commitments. If you could just send us a message and let us know you are ok it would be much appreciated, fellow active crew are quickly missed by other active members.

"HollowStrike Legion" appreciates that it is just a game; however, our Hierarchy, ranks, games and achievement awards are part of the virtual crew experience, fun and interactivity. Ranks, Crew reputation points and awards indicate and represent that crewmembers current level of dedication, involvement, achievement and standing in our community and crew. Many of the crew provide a great deal of input and feedback, as well as devoting a lot of free time, thought and real money into the crew. So please respect these crewmembers ranks and earned achievements.

Regardless of rank, if you go for long periods of unexplained inactivity, representing another crew or become part of an unreasonable number of other crews, you cannot expect to retain your crew rank above other active and more sociable players. If you have a planned or unplanned period of inactivity, we just ask that you let us know as soon as possible; in some cases, we may allow you to hold your place and rank in the crew. We regularly review our hierarchy every few months to ensure it reflects the current levels of activity and commitment to our crew so it is an ever-shifting hierarchy.

As a ranked Representative crewmember, we expect a reasonable level of loyalty and commitment to wearing the crew tags and emblem. We expect all our Representatives to display HSLX tags over any other crews. We expect all Officer Ranks (Lieutenant/Commissioner) to show commitment and loyalty to this crew only.

We ask that all crewmembers positively promote and protect the reputation of the crew: this means in game, on the Social Club and on other gaming forums. We do not like to see crew matters, disputes or grievances discussed in public, please keep anything to do with crew planning, events or other details to the website and our own forums. Never share private messages, conversation or crew intelligence with non-members, doing so will see immediate removal and banning.

If you are seen or heard to be unsociable, anti-social, inactive or acting against the interest of the crew you will simply be removed without warning. We do not want persistent moaners, trouble causers, aggressiveness, attention seekers or glory hunters. We want fun, friendly, sociable and like minded gamers.

GTA: ONLINE is like any crew/clan based multi-player game, fun rivalry is part of the game. Check the News-feeds and forums of the website as often so you can. This will show you our official crew alliances and crews or players who have made themselves in-game enemies. Allies are to be treated as extended crew and enemies to be engaged with extreme prejudice. We also run a CONTRACTS mini-game which will often assign specific crew enemies as targets.

If you find yourself in a session with a non-HSLX friend and a HSLX member at the same time, please inform your friend and your crewmember and ask that they do not attack each other. Friends of crewmembers are friends of the crew and will be treated as such. Unless they do not reciprocate, in which case we respond accordingly and in kind.

New members will quickly realise the crew is not adverse to friendly inter-crew banter amongst ourselves while in-game & party chat. We enjoy it and it can be a lot of fun. However, we only engage in this when we know it is mutual fun for both parties. If you are not sure, please just do not do it. Being in party chat is the best way to ascertain whether the fun is mutual.

In game Inter-crew fighting is strictly prohibited when representing the crew at an event, filming or competition as this looks bad to others who might not understand our ways, causes unnecessary distraction and wastes time. Please keep all behavior & banter fun and good spirited

We do not like to see real life in-fighting among members. This includes on our forum, outsider forums or over game chat and private messages. If you have a problem or dispute, either deal with it privately or message a the crew founder (PANiC) to help as an adjudicator. Never share private PMs or conversations publically, no matter what the situation. Doing so will see you removed and banned from the crew and community with immediate and permanent effect.

As a sociable and fun gaming crew we hope that this is never really needed. However when you get a group of diverse and passionate gamers together there will always be some issues. Discipline

If you have a complaint against a person and cannot resolve the problem with the person yourself or you feel it is ongoing and needs looking into then you must inform a crew commisoner or the crew founder via PM or private chat to discuss or to make it an Official Complaint.

All complaints will be dealt with in confidential and discreet manner. If your complaint is against a crew Officer, PM the crew principle founder PANiC directly. If your complaint is against the crew principle founder, please press the small X in the top right corner of your internet browser and we will say no more about it.

All complaints will be assessed against the crew handbook and considered amongst the crew founder and commissioners. They will decide whether the complaint is upheld or not.

The following system is used upheld complaints:

First upheld complaint: Informal written message via the forum PM system

Second upheld complaint: Official warning via forum warning system

Third upheld complaint: Immediate Removal from the GTA crew for a predetermined period.

Informal and formal warnings will be communicated to the offending crewmember via a crew leader.

Any removals from the crew are for a minimum period of 2 weeks, at which point you can return as new muscle member on probation for approx. 1 month, with a 1 strike and banned permanently proviso.

After the probation period is completed without incident, you have a clean slate again. Any crew reputation point reductions and rank demotions are permanent, you have to earn your reputation back.

In certain and exceptional situations the crew founders reserve the right to bypass the complaints procedure and immediately remove and ban a crewmember for serious breach of crew Rules.

"HollowStrike Legion" started as a core of sociable gamers and have always helped each other out. We encourage all crew to make an effort to help fellow members, whether its actively helping new or low ranked members rank up or offering to help members with completing game achievements. If you need help, you can make a request for this on via the forum and somebody will help.

"HollowStrike Legion" are a sociable crew; therefore, we request that when possible all members join Xbox live party voice chat. We understand that for many it can be daunting to start chatting to new people, but we are all very friendly and welcoming. Even if you would rather not speak and just listen, at least you will be able to hear your crew and communicate if needed.
