Calling someone a **** who knocked you out in 13 seconds is embarrassing tbh.

I like Conor McGregor I just think he was too cocky, used all his energy in the first round, then got hit a heavy jab that dazed him then he didn't put his guard up, he also said in his interview after the match he'd like to maybe go back to the 145 Feather weight division and shut jose aldo up? Any comments on that

If Nate beat McGregor, Dos Anjos would've killed him.

Hope McGregor goes back and shuts aldo up, it was always gonna be tough for Conor to make this step up people use excuses that Conor had to increase body weight etc yeah but Nate only had a week? Or two notice on the fight.

RL9 wrote Why McGregor took Nate to the ground I'll never know...

He was trying to save energy, it was a last ditch attempt to get a small rest and recovery from the hit from Diaz, he had no other choice seeing he was gassed at this point but with Nate's great jujitsu on the ground he was always going to win on the floor

Conor's best option now would be to fight either Franky or Jose and defend the belt then make his approach to 155

I respect Conor for saying he doesn't care about the weight class and proceeded to gain an extra 15 pounds in 10 days to make 170 whereas Diaz couldn't be bothered to cut weight down to 155 or even 160 dispite calling Conor out.

Conor's biggest mistakes are

-Not sparing with a 170 pound fighter to test his jaw and endurance for a heavier weight class
-Accepting a fight with Diaz knowing full well Diaz has a cast iron jaw and is excellent on the ground and is one of the best submission artists in the UFC

Even though I'm a McGregor fan being from Ireland myself, I had a feeling who would lose this, at the weigh in he didn't look confident at all and at the final face off when Conor lost his cool and slap Nate's hand away you could just tell he was frustrated.

I think what aldo wants is the belt back. I would say let frankie edgar have a shot at the notorious first for the 145lb belt and then let aldo fight the champ. Aldo cant just decide to jump back in and have a shot at the belt.
totally agree, it wasn't like he didn't get offered a rematch, he got called first and turned it down
teah, Aldos mistake was that he talked too much saying he would fight connor anytime anywhere, when he got called up, he didnt accept.

I hope they give frankie edgar a shot instead of aldo. That 13 sec ko could have damaged aldo.

I think we have to see if Aldo still is the same fighter as before. In order to know, he has to fight someone before the title shot. Frankie has been knocking down doors so i would say he derserves the titke shit. One thing i didnt like what connor said at the post fight conference, he was asked whether he would fight either Frankie or Aldo, he said whatever the fans want to see, so this means there is no ladder anymore? If course Aldo would be the fight everyone will want but what about frankie? Aldo has to prove that he deserves a title shot.
The same with ronda rousey, they are saying ronda will have a shot at the womens title, im like what? They should put rousey and holm to fight and whoever wins , gets a title shot at Tate, thats if Tate still has the belt. It seems these days that former champions get immidiate rematch , there is no ladder to climb to be the champion.

I agree. Especially since Dos anjos just keeps coming at you. I think this was the proper fight for mcgregor to get a taste of higher divisions. Dos anjos would have destroyed his face imo.

Not sure if it confirmed yet but isn't floyd mayweather and connor Mcgregor meant to be fighting, If so who do you think will win ?

MMA 100% McGregor
Boxing im unsure since i think McGregor has a good chance.

Would be a great fight no matter what

Great show match, imagine the revenue from it

Floyd could easily out box him tbh.

Big factor comes into play that cloud has experience of last long into the higher rounds while Conor doesn't have experience like that.

Floyd win for me.

It was a great fight with shock and believe at the end of the fight. Conor wanted to step into his game and Conor has said that "He'll fight anyone, anywhere", and he'll take it on the chin if it's a lose or not. Conor got locked up in the hold by Daiz and as Conor said he couldn't get out of it and Conor will train his mistakes. Conor will never change his cokieness because he's in a business that will never change his mind to do so. I'm surprised that Daiz can take Conor hits on 170. It's just what it is, it's a lose to think about.
