they are answering the question the person asked just because you got their first doesn't mean they can't post a somewhat similar post but yeah an exact copy of anothers is pretty annoying

I find it annoying as well. I may have done it before in the past i cant remember
But if someone posts a question and everyone comments the same answer and it will even go down to 2 pages of people with the same answer even if its not exact wording it bugs me. Its a way to get their post count up

Every forum on the Internet has this. Post boosting to make your profile look good when it could be complete nonsense. Just got to bite the bullet I am afraid. Maybe staff could monitor what a user is posting after x amount of times and place a post ban for a set amount of time. Just a theory of mine

Yes this can be quit annoying sometimes and it is known as post boosting but sometimes users will be typing a post and when they post it a user has just posted the same thing and that cant be stopped.

We are all guilty of it but some are worse than others. When I make a post and ask a simple question and the first reply gives me an answer that is great! But when I get 8 more replies of people saying the same thing it gets annoying and I feel like they don't actually care about my question. They are just there to boost their post count or show that they "helped" you.

y ah however if we are being brutally honest, yes that happens from time to time but when you look at the larger scale of examples it's usually just for the post count
