Does anyone else find that players on Rocket League XB1 are awful?
I'm pretty good at the game and i've noticed my own team usually overuses the boost function, which always causes them to launch me across the map and against the walls. It's mostly a problem when you have the clearest goals imaginable and your own team mates will block you off, redirect the ball or completely ram you away from the ball altogether.
Do you think that the majority of xbox one players are bad at the game or do you think it's just down to the fact it's a new release and people need to get the hang of it? I just don't know, but it's annoying.

Rocket league is skill based. So if you are playing awful players, the account you are playing on is awful.
There are actually more game-battle tournaments on XB1 than PS4 with more ladders/teams. Which is odd because PS4 is really what made rocket league popular, getting it for free that one month and they have 2x more systems than XB1 does.
And no, your rocket league level means nothing when it comes to skill based match making.
What I did to play against better players, was to 1v1 and win. Now I'm in 3v3 with much better players.
