Is there a certain GTX 970 that I'll have to purchase to fit? Or will any type/variation work fine?

Had a little look on Amazon and I'm not too sure which haha

That seems to be the cheapest option, if you want to spend more for a different cooler, you can. Most, if not all should fit fine, but to be safe check your case dimensions and make sure the GPU you get will fit.

Okay that's most likely what I'll get then

Also is there any specifications that the PSU needs? Think I'm going to look around to see if I can find a cheaper one, but will work well

Take your side panel off your case and put your head in there and try to identify what is making the noise. I would think its either a HDD or your GPU but it could also be your fans.
