Very unique tat man! Love it.

I'm planning on a sleeve in the future, just wanting to bulk out first. Hopefully when I'm 21ish.

I got that tattoo last year when I was kinda chubby. I'm now down around 2-3 stone. Starting to bulk a little because of my job in roofing. But I don't think you need to be bulk anyway man.

Fair enough when people say get something that means something to you or u will regret it... However it doesn't always have to have meaning. Tattoos are a firm of art and your body the canvas, if you feel it looks nice then go ahead and get it. If u feel you have certain doubts about a piece then don't bother getting it.

I really wanted to make a topic about this but I didn't think anyone really had tattoos on here seeing the community is around the age of 12-14 I believe but its great that this popped up!

Since December 2014 I thought about getting a tattoo and I wasn't really sure what I wanted to get but I knew that it had to surround my family since we are very close. I starting looking around at different styles and themes and I really liked the traditional Japanese styled tattoos and how family is strongly connected that style.

On Thursday I finished my second sitting(9 hours total now) for my full traditional Japanese sleeve and it has been the best decision I have ever made in my life. I don't care what anyone thinks about it or says about it, all that matters is what it means to myself and my family. I think it is a great way to express yourself and show another side to you. For anyone that is thinking about getting a tattoo I have a little advice for you. Make sure you really think about what you are going to get because once its on you there is no going back. Make sure that you do research on different shops in your area and to book a consultation with the artist so you can discuss what you want. Its going to cost anywhere from $100 - $10 000 or more so make sure you are financially stable and you can spend that money on the tattoo. Finally, its okay to hurt. Its really not that bad but some spots are worse than others so if you are not good with pain I would suggest going with a place on your body that is not as sensitive.

Sorry for this long post but I just wanted to talk about it because this is something that is huge in my life right now and I wanted to share! I will post some pictures of my sleeve so far in here in a couple days when I have some more spare time!

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

TLDR: Tattoos are amazing.
