i have no idea but a 3 character i sold last week got banned for the same reason
few people on HF got banned at the same time
like myself i think xbox is lurking the forums dont really know man

Communication bans are usually only temporary. I don't get how they can link account theft and communication...

Very possible, wouldn't be the first time either. I would personally only post gamertags in PMs for a while, or even just from now on.

I know on Twitter you can get people banned just by having maybe 10 people report them for the same reason. Maybe a group of CoD kids got mad and ganged up on you?

i had modded account thta were reported a shit ton never got banned
this account i mostly play campaign mode
and being legit it gets banned

few people got banned for this reason i dont think it has anything to do with those things

Well you arent spouse to sell xbl accounts that why most people block the account names out when they sell them so that way they don get banned

I'm not saying it has to do with those other things I mentioned, I am just throwing down possibilities. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. There haven't been completely meaningless bans in a while... have you tried contacting customer support? They never really do much once you mention that you were banned. In my past experiences, its best to just ask them to look into why you might have been. I've gone through a hefty amount of accounts in my time and I stopped cheating now but let me know if you need any more help.
