I know this is a tech site, but I thought some of you kind souls would help me a bit. I'm doing a project over the Department of Education and I need some current events or some interesting subjects you might find appealing or worth writing about.
The only thing I've found so far is Bullying, but this of course will be a current event for a very long time. This project is somewhat lengthy so I'll need some more subjects, preferably current.
If you choose to help me I'll gladly give you some rep for taking time out of your day to help. Thanks in advance.

I take it you need events relevant to education?
if you wanted some elementary school level stories, you could look at Syrian refugee children that have come over with their families and moved to a new school. How they're being received, etc. I saw a great video about a Canadian town welcoming the refugee family with open arms.
