So my best friend and his girlfriend of 3 years broke up today, i want to cheer him up but i dont know how to. So if you guys have any ideas please let me know, Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

I would say that you can't. Not straight away. Give him time to do his own thing for a few weeks.
Be there if he wants to talk to you, but don't try to force him to be happy.
Sadness is sometimes best left to run its course.

It's best not in interrupt with the emotional split up between your friend and his girlfriend. Leave him be for a couple of days and text him or ring him anyone will do and chat with him to see if he's alright. Things happen like this so you have to give them space. Tell him a joke to cheer him up or show some dank meme's.

Try keep him busy but I wouldnt be annoying just stay supportive go do something together maybe.

Just be there for him and shit. My mates were there for me when I ended my long term relationship and they've always been there for me. Just give him his space and let him do his own thing, just be supportive and that.
