Do NOT set your phone back to 'January 1st, 1970' the scam going around on Facebook, Twitter, ect. It will completely brick your phone and cannot fix it. You will have to get it fixed through apple. So please listen and do NOT fall for this!

You can fix it by completely draining battery or taking it apart and unplugging battery.

If you don't jailbreak your phone you could just update to the newest 9.2.1 and not have to worry about it!

Didn't think something like this could occur by changing the date/time. Crazy stuff. Good thing I'm already jailbroken. Though you should be able to enter DFU mode and do restore via iTunes shouldn't you?

It is just a bug. Apple is working on fixing it, and I don't honestly know why people were dumb enough to set their devices back that far. What was it going to accomplish?
