Hi, Recently i went to turn my laptop on and i got a BSOD error. The code is 0x000000F4.

It used to work if i started the laptop in safe mode but now non of the advanced startup options work either!

Can anyone help me out with this error?!

Thanks

What version of Windows do you use? Have you made any software or hardware changes? and what does the error message say.

It appears as though you've had some OS failure. Literally. I did some research and it looks like a crucial file(s) for your OS has become corrupt.

There are many ways to address the issue. Boxty asked what version of Windows you're using. That is important. What kind of laptop is it and do you have a recovery disk?

So what happens when you try to start the system in safe mode or any sort of recovery options? You can usually get to them by tapping F6 or F8 then going from there, if it boots by itself then goes to a repair screen then you could use the command line to diagnose the issue further.

EDIT I read you originally said your advance options no longer work at all, so I would suggest burning a DVD or USB with a Windows 7 image, booting off of there and using the tools on there to replace the damaged files.

No problem, You can use Rufus to burn the .iso image to the USB drive too after download.
