I waited for an 8 and I am very glad I did.

Not everyone can afford a V8. The V8 option is more expensive, it takes more gas, and it costs more to insure.

You wanna feel slow? Hop in my truck rofl.

Remember, not everyone likes what you like. What happened for you won't happen for everyone.

002 Just trying save him/her a hassle. They V6 engines for this year are JUNK. Bad performance and they all break down alot more than the v8. You can find V8s for like 5k. Its not that expensive.

It's all in how the engine was cared for. To be completely honest with you, I haven't head of a major issue for the 99-04 V6's...

Again, V8's use more gas, and cost more to insure. Not everyone is about speed, hell I'd rather a V6 over a V8. They both get up to the legal speed limit and that's all you need.

The 4th gen stangs without a V8 shouldn't even be called a mustang.

1. Who cares about fuel economy when you're driving something you love
2. If you are worrying about insurance and fuel economy don't get a damn mustang then, get something like a civic.

Why? Todays V6 Mustang goes faster than the 99-04 V8's. It's called the Mustang by the body style, not the running gear.

If you think you need a manual V8 to keep your man card, go ahead lol,

Like I said he may like the look of the Mustang, but wants less insurance and better gas mileage. I don't know, just me speculating but if I where in the Mustang market, I'd get the automatic V6.

Why by a sports car if you wanna go slow.. I dont understand that logic at all. You can mod the V8 to get 400bhp for 3.5k like I did. You cant do that with the V6.

You don't NEED speed. The speed limit is the speed limit, there is not need to get past that. It's a looks thing.

EDIT:
Just because gas is cheap right now don't mean it won't go back up. Every year around Christmas or any major travel season, gas sky rockets. You have to think outside of today.

Never claimed I was lol, I just know a tad bit about them but I'm a carpenter. As you know, I'm a truck guy, cars aren't my thing. If you think power is all a car enthusiast looks at, you clearly aren't one either.
