This thread is going to attract all the scene kids. My father introduced me to NWA at an early age. I love old school rap. Especially NWA.

Ohhhh I love people like this. Another musical regressive who thinks they need to question the authenticy of peoples musical choice. I know im commenting on your thread but really? Does it matter if they are "real" fans. Whats a fake fan? Define please. Just because someone likes a few songs of a certain artist or hears a few songs on the radio and likes them doesnt mean they are fake fans, not everyone cares alot about music so they just care or dont have time to listen to all the music by that artist. Doesnt make them a fake fan, it makes them human. Bandwagoners are different though and I think thats what you were getting at. There is plenty of rap today that has meaning to it and saying "I love old school rap. It had meaning and its much better then current "rap" " just proves that you arent actually diving into the genre and just listening to the surface.

To answer your question no im not an NWA fan, I like a few songs but I mean they stopped making music like 10 years ago... There is only so much you can listen to. All the songs ive heard like "real niqqaz" or "express yourself" like yeah they are good but its not my taste in music anymore. I used to listen to NWA alot back in the day because I have an older brother so I grew up on that shit but eh its not for me anymore in 2016

I am chill im simply pointing out a flaw I see. I can do that cant I?

Who went to see the NWA film? People who like NWA. Even if people went to see the film who have never heard an NWA song before or very small amounts and then went out and listened to more of their music and called themselves fans whats wrong with that? I would say the film did a good job at sparking musical interest back into the group.

I've always liked NWA and I've yet to see the movie. You made a few extremely valid points above Jiro. Cheers to your perspective on the subject man.

Flew over from the UK to see them live at the Wachovia Spectrum Center, Philadelphia. Was one of the best experiences of my life.

I shook cube's hand as he walked by and almost fainted with excitement. Awesome experience.

Been a fan for over 20 years, still bump them in my car everyday.
