My self radio isn't working

I recently bought gta v for pc and one feature I was most looking forward To was the self radio. only to find out that it didn't work

I've emailed rockstar, been through Reddit and nothing's worked, I bought the game legit from steam and I've tried many all audio formats and also have more than 6 songs, I've made shortcuts and nothing's worked, if I click the "perform full scan" it doesn't finish and when i do it when story mode loads up I do the scan and it scans for like 5 seconds but the radio still isn't there

If anyone knows the answer please please please help me! I was looking really foward to this certain feature only to find out it doesn't work for me
