To start this off, supposedly me and my classmates are supposed to be the best class of our grade, but lately I think different.
So, for some reason nowadays most people don't know how to talk. They have slurred speech and use the most annoying words ever. I know that this rubs off on people but my god, If I had a dollar for every time someone has said these words "lit" or "bae" or something in that vicinity. I would be rich, owning a mansion in California. I know that most people won't really care because they can say what they want but its really annoying.
Along with this comes music, so many people have quoted one line from a Chief Keef song, and then precede to sing it over and over again really irritates me. Now I don't know if this is happening everywhere. But I can say that I live in a low class neighborhood where if something is booming and everyone is doing it or saying it, it spreads like wildfire.
I can't say that I have never said one of these words, because I have said these words, but if you were to here it as much as I am hearing it. You would know how I feel.

Sorry if anything is misspelled or doesn't make sense, don't feel like rereading what I wrote.

The beat go off??

I don't see anything wrong with people using slang or other words that you don't use. As long as they aren't making fun of you or being offensive, you should just ignore it and move on with life. It may be annoying to you but that's just how people are. Life doesn't always go the way you want it to, and letting yourself get caught up in the things people say is pointless.

If I had $1 for every time I cringed from hearing "bae"
I would buy the word "bae" and not allow anyone to say it

What is wrong with the choice of words? People say words like lit because it is popular at the moment and it easier to say then to say that something was "turned up or popping".

Yet both of the words you listed were still slang? If you are trying to prove a point you aren't going far.

I see where you're coming from but you can't judge the book by the words in this sort of direction where this is going. You have to look at this in two ways. You you wanted to judge or mock people because what they say; It's wrong but everyone has different meanings so I can't say dis-agree with what you're saying right? It's the way people use the word in content now-a-days, by harming the word "Bae" for a great example in my books if people say the word all the time yes it can be annoying but if people say the word now and again it's okay I guess.

btw.. This topic is Lit
