So for school we have to learn a new song to play. I personally have only be playing for about 6 months but I wouldn't say I'm utter shit (I can keep along with some solos and do most stuff if it's just given to me, but I'm by no means a professional)
Now as for the song, I was thing of either doing the lead guitar for Dead! by My Chemical Romance or Symphony Of Destruction by Megadeth.
My question is what would you choose out of the two, and/or what else would you pick if you were in my position and only have just over a month to learn it (really only metal genres if that's alright, and I have a seven string as well if that makes any difference to song recommendations.)

Good to finally see someone interested in music that needs and actual instrument to play!
As for the song, I'd say Megadeth's "Symphony Of Destruction" is a great choice. It sounds really good if you're committed and you learn to play it right. Or maybe it's just my bias towards Metal music.
