What is your forte? I've been using 360TotalSecurity now for awhile and it seems to do it's job. I'm open to new suggestions. What would you all recommend and why?

I've always used Avast, it's free and does pretty well at keeping my pc free of any viruses.

Back when I had Windows 7 I used just the typical Microsoft Security Essentials, but my new PC came with a year subscription to Norton 360 Pro so that's what I'm using for now. That with Malwarebytes keeps everything pretty sanitary lol.

Norton is absoulte sh**, i would rather have no av then norton, but that is just my opinion. OP, i don't use a antivirus, i normally just use malwarebyes, but i have gotten to the point where if i get a virus, i just reinstall a OS.

I have Avast free but on silent mode. so you never see it, but you have the backup if you make a boo-boo.

For me I currently use Bitdefender Endpoint for Mac & PC, however i've been testing Kaspersky too as its been rated well this year. You can check up on how yours is rated at AVTest.

I've used Norton for the last 2 years. I don't know why so many people don't like it. It does its job very well. I also scan occasionally with malwarebytes and run ccleaner every few days. All three combined keep my PC in great shape!

I too use Avast and I also whack it in silent mode [Yup, Craig stole that idea from me too....]

Im not an idiot when it comes to browsing the webs, and although I could be infected still, I trust myself & Avast to do a good enough job. Plus, hey, a re-install of Windows is good once every now and then
