It depends I guess if your going to use the site regularly and if you think you will use the benefits of being a gold member, then yeah i guess so it is worth it. I have had gold for a long time and i like it a lot personally. If i was you id get it for a month see if you like it and if you do carry on getting it.

Gold is more than worth it.

It's worth the $6, that's such a little amount of money anyway.

I like gold mainly for the coloured name but also access to the gold forums.

People like it for the IM and other things but, I mean, you can just use Skype or whatever IM service of your choice. The TTG IM isn't bad but there's a lot to be improved on.

It goes towards keeping TTG running which I don't mind paying for, I enjoy my time on TTG and like helping people out around the forums.

I see you're not a consistent poster on the site. I feel like that why you don't have an urge to get gold. Not because it's perks, but because you don't use the site to it's full advantage. Try out new forums and test new threads out. Have fun wit the site & try gold for One month, I promise you'll love it.

It all really depends on how active you will be because otherwise it will just be a waste of money.
