Before I say anything, I have nothing against females that play video games/online video games

I just find it unsettling that there are a select amount of girls that play online games for attention.

Example: Make sure everyone in your game knows you're a girl

I know exactly what you mean I've seen a few posts on here like 'Girl Gamer here looking for friends to play xbox'

If you really want friends to just play xbox instead of get lots of attention then you don't need to add the fact that you're a girl

Very simple, ignore them and they will crumble. They feed off of attention so when you dont GIVE them that attention they die.

Although ive met a few "gamer girls" - girls who play video games who were cool. Lets be honest though alot of guys like to seek attention too especially in MMO's. Humans are social, attention is nice.

It's not only in video games where girls seek attention. It's annoying as'f IRL.

In video games it seems like they let the whole lobby know and expect us to treat them different. Even though I have met some girls that are cool and just their to play the game and have fun, not advertise that they are a girl and expect some sort of special treatment.

This is generally the main example because in a sense, most population of gamers is male.
Girls that do this generally like to stand out from the rest to get attention.
However, the main point within this rant has been acknowledged and has been whined about for ages.

Nothing really new here to talk about.

What REALLY gets me angry though is people like Kaceytron (twitch.tv streamer/boobie streamer) that put on fake personalities and hang their tits out of their shirts to make money (donations/subs/etc) and actually end up earning a lot of money from doing it.
There's more and more people doing this and it's quite ignorant to say the least.
