Need a laptop for school, and was contemplating between a Macbook Air or Pro, not really sure what the difference is.. I know that the Air is cheaper which is nice considering its already about $1000 CAD
What am I going to use it for?
Well nothing heavy, ofcourse not gaming, I will be using it for school, maybe some photoshop, and just regular internet surfing. Anyone with good Mac knowledge, and some tips please post below. If you're a gold member add me and we can talk on chat. if you need to know more of what I'm going to see it for, or just need more info all together just post, and i'll reply.

Probably go for a Pro my mate has one and it never lets him down and its so nice and quick to use

I would look at it this way - if you are expecting to use Photoshop only occasionally, maybe once a week, and you have an external drive etc - you are good with the Air.
If you are doing daily design work, and especially if you are working with RAW (Camera) files prior to Photoshop editing, you might want to consider the Pro for performance and that sexy crisp screen.

Definitely go with the pro. I have one and it works for everything I need it for.

i was looking for one for that reason like 1 month ago... i got a pro and its great at photoshop and general school things, i also use it for other things such as FL studio, abelton etc

USE BOOKS... THEY NEVER LET YOU DOWN. USE A PENCIL, YOU ONLY HAVE TO SHARPEN IT. USE AN ERASER.. YOU ONLY HAVE TO GET A NEW ONE. GET A PIECE OF PAPER, THERE ARE TREES ALL AROUND YOU.

I used to own a mac book air and wasn't to keen on it but i have a family member with a pro and i can tell you the pro is better.

He asked which one to buy, the pro or air. I didn't see a paper option.
Anyways, I've heard of some good reviews about the Pro.
