I think it's stupid how special badges are given out e.g Awesome, Graphics King and Ninja.

I feel like their all given to people who don't seem to do much for the community, at least, not anymore.

Theirs countless users who do a absolute ton for the site and support it, and support others, I don't need to name them as many people can just tell you who they are. But they don't have anything from given all the support and helping out the site.

For example Illustrated, when he had his Graphics King badge, it got removed because, well I don't know why he lost it, but I think it was because of that GFX contest and Pish won. But yet Illustrated posts 24/7 in the Graphics section, and it's all brilliant! Obvioduly as he was a former 'Graphics King' but yet it got removed because of 1 contest? (Forgive me if I'm wrong) and yet all you see in Illustrated's past forums created is that is only 1 page but yet you view Pish's past forums and you see;
I know he still has three Graphics posts, but hes barely a 'Graphics King' is he?! I'm not saying this to get his badge removed, don't get me wrong, his GFX design was brilliant, but for creating 1 graphical content piece he got the badge?
Doesn't seem really fair to me?


I also feel some badges are given out pointlessly, (sorry Dale) e.g Dale's 'secondary' account I guess you could call it. https://www.thetechgame.com/TTG_DaleUK has the Ninja badge for what reason? The account isn't even being used, and just because he's a Admin he feels he can just give him self a badge..? Yet again sorry Dale, just had to bring it up.

Another type of thing is about a user called 'Tea', he was a previous Moderator I believe, and he got demoted because he had a argument with another Mod? Pretty pathetic to me..


Basically the message to all this is that the special badges are given out at stupid occasions, and don't get given out by their standards. E.G Graphics King to achieve you need to "Post work, must be above and beyond the regular graphics you see, like desktop backgrounds , speed art, website designs, logos, forum sigs, and avatars/sigs/banners. " No-where does it say create one post about a GFX contest and receive the badge, (Yet again I'm not saying this to convince mods to get rid of his badge) Illustrated however meets all them criteria's, and yet doesn't have it, well formerly did. I feel many more special badges should be given out to people who really help.

Sean himself said "Thanks for what you've done over the past 4 years you're one of the best we have. "

He's done over 400+ gifts, helped hundreds and hundreds of members with general questions to modified consoles. But yet https://www.thetechgame.com/BetterCallSaul has the Awesome badge, I've never even heard of him!!? Doesn't seem 'awesome' to me, yeah he might of been back in the day, but you know, it's 2016 now, he last visited in June 2015.

Also, I'm not saying this to give Rodent a chance for the badge, he will get it when staff feels hes earned it. (which is now lol)

I've got more to say, just me fingers are getting lazy!
