Whenever it first came out my brother got it and I never once played it. I was never much of a Bungie player. I thought I wouldn't like it because I really didn't care for halo. So for the first year it was out I never played it. I just got an xbox one 1 month ago and I've had the game for 2 maybe 3 weeks. I'm already level 40 with 282 light with all DLC's and rank 26 with another character ( I don't use him much ) but I've been just grinding away, hours after hours, everyday for the past week and a half because I've become so addicted to the game. I'm texting my girlfriend less and less and hanging with my friends less and less just to play it. I need to chill out with it but I can't help it. It's such an addicting game. I use to play Black ops 3 and Rainbow siege but I haven't played either one since I started destiny. Destiny is the only game I've touched for the past week and a half. Today I spent 3 and half hours busting my but to get 97 legendary marks. The most I've ever gotten in a day is about 30. I wanted to upgrade my exotic Red Death so bad I focused everything on those marks and got 97..... To me that's crazy. Especially since getting marks in the crucible is such a pain bc most of the time, I get horrible teammates with the exception of maybe 1 and lose more times than not which is really infuriating. Who else needs to chill with this game because Ik I do.

I am the same way brotha, especially with counter strike. I'd spend mass money, lost a girlfriend and dropped out of one of my colleges (Thankfully I transferred to another) but video games are addicting as F***. You gotta force yourself to do something else. I got a job so that helped me out a lot and moved in with my current girlfriend and she now plays a few games with me but I wont be grinding for hours like I used to. Do some dailies for some legendary marks, I can get 200 within 3 days

Not really, you just need to work out your priorities more in my opinion and just limit yourself on it each day to slowly get the play time down on it.

Ive got 900 hours on this game now and im still in the right mindset to message people if and when i can. They understand that if im not responding its because im playing destiny. Try just little chunks of the game then take like a 10-20 min break then get back to it. Hopefully with that routine, You'll find yourself playing less and less but with more decent stuff as you prioritise yourself

Wouldn't say it is anymore in my opinion Destiny's moment is done.

This is exactly what I do. I'll play 30 minutes. Then I'll take a 30 minute break. You still get a lot of play time in.
