Not but in all seriousness, why would you even want a knife for reaching level 1000? We already have a combat knife, which is a one hit melee, how would a bowie knife be any better?

I don't particularly care, but people are dropping cash on cod points for melee weapons that serve the same purpose as the knife in a different skin; its the exact same concept as skins for knives on csgo, but in a different level.

I don't even use the knife, so this post, again, was entirely out of curiosity.

I completely understand what you were saying, I wasn't saying anything different. I completely 100% agree with you. The kids who spend hundreds of dollars trying to get the butterfly knife, wrench, or brass knuckles are dumb. Yea they're cool to have, but you can also save 30 cryptokeys and open rare supply drops.

It takes (me) approximately an hour and a half to two hours to save 30 cyrptokeys to open a rare supply drop, while I haven't gotten a melee weapon (yet ) my friends have. It's no different than using the combat knife, which rarely anybody does unless they're going for dark matter camo.

It's all just another way for Activision and Treyarch to make more money off of the game, and honestly, they're doing great with it.
