Are they all tied together like the fate/ series are? And are the .hack// series good? Possibly looking forward to watching them if so.?

They eventually tie together but you have to watch them in order.. imo would watch like this

Hack//Sign
Hack//Liminality

Hack//Legend of Twilight
Hack//Gift
