World Series Winner: Texas Rangers will beat the Giants in game 6 to take home the first World Series win in franchise history and end the annoying streak of the Giants winning every other year.

Hated it at the beginning, but now I love it. Yes, Simmons is a once in a generation player and will probably be mentioned in the same breath as Jeter and Ozzie Smith when it's all said and done, but the only thing he has going for him is his glove. His bat is below average, and his OPS is awful. In my opinion (and obviously the Atlanta Braves front office's opinion) his bat is only going to digress. In return we got Sean Newcomb, who is going to be Jon Lester esque if he lives up to the hype, and Chris Ellis who will be a good middle of the rotation type of guy.
The Braves would never have made the trade if they were contending today, but because we are building for the future it makes it a great trade.
