I agree with what you are saying but when they only join TTG to advertise their own website in my mind that makes them deserve hate.

agreed i was in a topic and these guy who singed up yeeatarday said are there any 15 lobbies and some guy comes out of no where and says no you Dumbsh*t there no modds out and if you say u can set them up your a scammer learn how search the topic O_o

Agreed People hate on new members sometime just because they are new.

Now I can understand the hateing if that new user decides to knowingly not abide by the rules then I think they should be -repped.

But if that member is new and doesnt know the rules you shouldnt flame them but instead just tell them that that is against the rules and then post a link to the rules.
