So in your opinion what truly makes an app so great and lovable, what are things you would like apps to add or takeout. And finally what is your favorite app and why?

User experience.
Like, I'd personally use an app that's easier to use than another app that may be more advanced or even free.
Seriously, user experience design is a huge field.
User satisfaction too. Basically, users like to be informed and know that what they've done works.
There's a great video on youtube that talks about it all by a German woman giving a talk.
As for gaming apps, it's a similar idea. Psychologically users like the fact that they're progressing through the stages of the game or just find it enjoyable to do what you can in the game.
