In the past I have modded Grand Theft Auto 5 alot and love doing it although, sometimes I have to do a fresh install from it not working or installations going wrong. Yet recently is seems that Steam is now installing GTA V with Mods I had previously installed on it. GTA V just stops working?
Is there anyway to fix this or a way for it to do a fresh install or something. Thank you +REP for anyone that can help. I know it's not much.

Check your install folder to see if any mods are still lingering, even in the SteamApps folder and or the My Documents or wherever you saved your mods to. Steam doesn't auto-install mods unless it's installed via the workshop, in which case GTA V is not on there so it wont.

Check your steam folders and they should have mods hiding in their if you don't want them delete them off the folder.

I'm aware it shouldn't that is why i was strangely concerned why it is happening.
Well I uninstalled it today and re-installed it and when it was finished I have a loaded graphics enhancer and asi loaders with a trainer...
I cannot just remove them from the directory as their are mods changed in the .RPF Files too. I am unaware which ones are effecting the game from crashing.
By install folder do you mean my games directory. I have just cleared the my documents area and thank you.
