Basically I have an Xbox Kinect that a friend gave me and I get back to my house soon, will his Kinect work on my Xbox??

Could you be more specific? Are we talking about the one or 360? If the Kinect is on 360 and you have a 360 it will work If it's for the One and you have a One it will work.
