In the mood of getting some horror anime and things like mystery and psychological etc..

Only 4 anime along these lines I've seen and enjoyed are

-Psycho Pass
-Ergo Proxy
-Another
-Tokyo Ghoul

I'm more than likely going to watch Elfen Lied and Berzerk as several have said they are really good, i'm not bothered by ecchi although with it being not all comedy etc, I'd rather not.

Higurashi, Deadman Wonderland, and Corpse Party are the only horror anime I can think of right now.

Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru is a good mystery anime that just finished airing and Gakkou Gurashi is a good horror, although there is a lot of cute things in it, you wouldn't think its a horror.

Highschool of the Dead is a good horror.
