So I got a new headset and I have plugged it all in correctly but on the instructions it tells me to go to my setting preferences and go to voice but when I go there there is no category saying voice and my adapter wont update so how do I get my headset to work, please help me

is the issue that your headset adapter is not updating? Im not sure what you're asking. Also, what headset is it and are you using a standard Xbox controller?

My adapter won update it tells me there is no update needed and yes standard controller

Possibly try s different controller or different usb cord. What headset are you trying to use?

Tuned my Xbox off at the mains and back on and the headset is working even though I done that about 30 times thanks for helping anyway
